This is a time for you to receive whatever it is you require at this point to help you navigate your life. A 121 session is can be whatever you want it to be - a personal yoga practice, yoga and healing, a specific yoga nidra created by me, or a shamanic ceremony just for you.
Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation also known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation”. It’s usually practiced lying down although it doesn't have to be so, and is best as a guided experience. The practice draws our attention inwards, and we learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where our body finds its natural state of equilibrium (homeostasis) – the breath balances and becomes quiet, unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and we fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.

Mindfulness & Meditation
This is a type of mind-body medicine and it has been practiced for thousands of years. During meditation, you develop intentional focus — minimizing random thoughts about the past or future.
Many forms of meditation exist, but most have in common a quiet setting, a comfortable position, focused attention and an open attitude.
Meditation may offer many benefits, such as helping with concentration, relaxation, inner peace, stress reduction and fatigue.

Most bespoke services are usually held at my beautiful home in Medway, however I am happy to travel to your home if you are local or have a zoom call. Each session is often 1 and a ½ to 2 hours depending on your needs and during this time we will work together to bring about the perfect conditions for your healing at that time. These sessions are personally crafted to your needs and requirements and appointments are available at a time to suit you including evenings and weekends.

Shamanic Yoga - Honouring The Directions
Shamanic Yoga i an 8 class course offering an experience of the directional movement of the body and how that relates to finding yourself at the centre of the points of the compass and the teachings of the energies of each of the directions.

The course will use various yogic and shamanic techniques to bring balance and alignment to our physical body through yoga postures to stimulate and open the direction of focus and meditation and visualisation to still the mind fluctuations and create space for the imagination to speak the language of the soul.

We will also use pranayama techniques to share and blend with the energy of the direction and we shall experience how Yoga Nidra, deep relaxation, can help us to know the peaceful sacred being within and drum journeys to experience the visual communication available.
I find the cross over of understanding between yoga and shamanic practices so fascinating and am enjoying bringing the wisdom of these ancient techniques together in one seamless spiritual practice.

Nada Yoga - The Yoga of Sound
There are different ways of understanding how we can use sound and vibration for healing and harmonising the inner frequencies.
Currently I am supporting the wonderful Michelle Crozier - Mantra from the Heart with my shamanic drum and voice. These beauftiful uplifting yoga sessions are from the Bhakti tradition of devotion.
Previously I have held 2 hr sessions where we dive into the world of sound, chanting, music and singing, learning Sanskrit chants, singing sacred songs from around the world with ukulele and other musical treats and yogic sound techniques to bring us into joyful awareness of the infinite. Prayerful and powerful mantras and songs to create blissful music between us.

As we rest here, we can turn our attention easily and effortlessly to the very nature of awareness and consciousness. We start to experience the ‘deeper’ features of yogic teachings that previously we perhaps considered intangible, such as feeling our interconnected wholeness and becoming aware of our true, unified nature – expansive, inclusive, and deeply restful.
Yoga Nidra takes us effortlessly into a state of harmonious, restful being. From here, we can be healed, restored and awakened to our deepest, all-knowing, all-welcoming self. It’s a sublime practice, gaining popularity the world over, and ongoing research continues to prove its effectiveness.
Absolutely anyone can practice Yoga Nidra, but it has immense appeal for those who struggle to let go, or find meditation is not for them. It also has immense value for those suffering from sleep deprivation, trauma, anxiety or depression (to any degree)
Can be used as a stand alone practice during a 121 session or as part of a course of sessions and I always include a Yoga Nidra at the end of a yoga class.
Meditation
As part of my teacher training I have been taught how to teach various different forms of meditation, all with the same goal of learning to focus the mind, bring about stillness and live from the heart.
One of the 8 steps or limbs of Patanjalis yoga sutra, meditation has been taught for thousands of years to aspirants to focus the attention on a single point. Meditation or contemplation, the seventh stage of Ashtanga, the eightfold path, is the uninterrupted flow of concentration
There are lots of techniques that are called meditation that are a form of visualisation and the value of such tools is undoubted.
